How to be Grateful

Do we need to be grateful and if so, why and to whom?

We need to be grateful because everything that we’ve got or do is not off our own strengths or even how clever we are. Everything was given to us. Just think about it.

You may say that you did it all by yourself and that you suffered to get what you’ve got. You worked hard to collect all the things you’ve gained in life. You worked clever to get to the top and sometimes you had to do something that you didn’t even like, just to get ahead.

Here’s the thing: even if you did all these thing, it was still given to you.

The brain that you so cleverly use was given to you at birth. You didn’t have a hand in it. You didn’t create it or formed it. You may have developed it.

Your ability to work was given to you. You didn’t form or created it. Your body was given to you. You may have developed it with some exercises.

All of this only means one thing, and it is this: everything that you’ve gained using these abilities was also given to you. Which means that your car was given to you, your house, your clothes, the food you eat, the TV you watch and everything else that you see as yours.

So who do you thank for all off this. I choose to thank God for everything that I’ve got and it doesn’t matter how small it is. If He didn’t want me here I wouldn’t have been here. So it doesn’t matter what happens to me, I am grateful towards God.

You can choose to be grateful towards to God too or to anyone you see fit, or how you understand God to be, like your Higher Self, your Source. The choice is yours.

You cannot get anything if you are not grateful for the things you have now.

Be grateful, just say “Thanks”

To help you understand gratitude better I compiled the 9 Greatest Articles on Gratitude that I could find on the Internet for you.

How to Forgive others

Forgive and forget. Easy words to say but not so easy to do. Forgiveness depends on how big your ego is. The bigger your ego the harder it is to forgive. The lesser your ego, the easier it is to forgive.

The harder it is to forgive someone, the more you hurt the bigger your ego.

The more we want other people to do what we want them to do, the more we will be disappointed. The more we want to dictate how other people should react the more hurt it will bring us.

Your ego is what tells you what you expect from situations and people. When this expectation doesn’t realize, your ego is hurt.

Because your ego is what get hurts, not you.

What we all should do is to remind ourselves that we can’t control other people. They just do what they think is right for them. This may not be right for you.

So just forgive them.

Describe God to me

As you know by now, am trying everything possible to becomming a millionaire. One of these things is "writing e-books" and selling them on the internet.
Now I would like you to help me with my next book which I will call: My God, it's my God!
So how can you help me? I would like you to describe God to me. That's it!
How do you see God?
If you hear the word God, what comes to mind?
Please post your comment here or e-mail me at lukas@millionaires2b.com

Thanx

Dear God

Dear God
Prayer is said to be the tool we as earthlings use to talk to God, or whatever God may mean to you. It is the communication between you and a spiritual being or your higher-self, if you will.
Every religion has got its own method or ritual that is to be performed when trying to make contact to your “God, Spiritual Being, angels” etc. In some of these religions they talk about meditation. This is also seen as praying because you have to still your mind to give “God” an opportunity to talk to you.
The question now is: ”Why is it necessary for us to pray?”
We pray to a Godlike figure because we want to belief that there is someone out there who can help us with our problems, whatever it may be. A super-being who can fix everything in the wink of an eye.
We belief that there must be some sort of a “God” out there that will help us with our struggles through life.
There must be someone better than us who would have the solution to all our problems.
My next question is this: “Are we not shifting our responsibility onto our “God”?  I personally think so!
Didn’t “God” give us everything that we would need to handle life as it is today?  Didn’t our Grandfathers also struggle through life?  I know it was years ago and our situation differs quite a lot but to them it was as it is to us today.
I belief that we are given the know-how to get through as they were given the know-how for the time they lived in.
“So why pray” you may ask.
Praying is not to beg for something. It is your birthright to have everything that you will need to get by.
Praying is to give thanks for all the opportunities you have to display to the world who you are.
What you were made of. Your talents. Your love. Your purpose in life because you are the display-window of your “God”, the best “you”.
