Why I don't go to church

The first reason why I don't go to church is because I have seen christians and I don't think that it is what Jesus had in mind.
The church that I used to go to was the place where you could find out what was going on in everyones lives. Their deepest secrets that they told the Pastor in secrecy. Especially when you were part of the church board.
This church is also the place where people were judged the most. You wouldn't belief it. The "everyone is wrong and I am right" attitude.
Then one-day we were talking about it and my son said something that made me wonder. He said:"Only narrow-minded people goes to church, open-minded people don't go to church".
I thought about it for some time and came to the conclusion that he was right.
When you look at the churchgoers you will find:
A lot of them goes there to socialize. A gathering place.
Some goes there to be seen.
Some want someone else what to do and to read from the Bible for them. And you would find that they do have a Bible.
Some want someone else to pray for them rather than praying themselves.
Maybe it is because they want to put the blame on someone else when something goes wrong in their lives.

Open-minded people realized that someone else cannot find The Kingdom of God for you. It is something that you will have to do yourself. Someone else cannot pray for you because they don't know your deepest feelings. The feelings that only you and God knows.
Open-minded people travel the narrow road because there is only space for one person and that person is you.
It is easier for an open-minded person to know God directly than a narrow-minded person. You cannot know God through another person. Someone else cannot meet with God for you. It is something that you need to do yourself.
